About us
A small Nepali team that shows visitors the river most people only drive across.

Thousands of travellers cross the Narayani every day on the bridge at Narayangadh, on their way to somewhere else. We think the river is worth stopping for.
We run short trips along it: a morning at the Devghat confluence, an evening on the city waterfront, a walk around the lakes of Bis Hajari Tal, a day with Tharu and Bote families at Amaltari, and a night in their homestay.
How we work
- Every trip has a local guide who knows the river, its birds and its people.
- Prices include transport, the guide and everything listed on the trip page.
- Trips are small and can be private.
- We change plans for the season and the river: if the water is too high or the fog too thick, we'll suggest something better.
Our part in looking after the river
- We use community homestays and local guides, so the money stays along the river.
- We don't feed, chase or crowd wildlife.
- We carry out every piece of litter, ours and what we find.
